GLAUCOM Seoul – mechentel new – dans le numéro d’aout 2016 de l’Am J Ophthalmol., l’équipe de KE. Kim a démontré que le SD-OCT renforçait la précision du diagnostic particulièrement dans les stades modérés de glaucome grâce à l’analyse de l’atteinte des structures. L’étude a porté sur 109 yeux témoins et 151 yeux de patients de patients glaucomateux à des stades différents de la maladie. L’analyse de structure comprenait des photos stéréo des papilles, des photos infrarouges de la couche des fibres nerveuses rétiniennes, et un examen SD OCT. Cinq spécialistes du glaucome ont analysé les résultats et leur diagnostic a été plus performant avec l’aide du SD OCT qu’en son absence notamment dans les formes modérées. (pb)
